What to Expect
Initial consultations: include a detailed history, structural assessment, and treatment where appropriate.
Treatment includes: Chiropractic adjustments and trigger point therapy using needles (dry needling) or a hands on approach to release myofascial tension.
Discussions and advice around ergonomic and postural corrections.
Follow-up appointments focus on establishing a more tailor-made treatment plan for your specific situation, whether it’s a short-term treatment plan for an injury or a long term maintenance plan for ongoing support.
The goal is not simply temporary relief, but addressing the mechanical drivers contributing to pain and restricted movement.
The Trigger Point Clinic is an ACC registered provider. If your visit is the result of an accident or injury your appointment and an x-ray (if needed) may be subsidised.
Fees
The clinic accepts ACC claims for injury-related treatment. No referral is required.
If you have an active ACC claim, treatment is partially funded.
