What to Expect

  • Initial consultations: include a detailed history, structural assessment, and treatment where appropriate.

  • Treatment includes: Chiropractic adjustments and trigger point therapy using needles (dry needling) or a hands on approach to release myofascial tension.

  • Discussions and advice around ergonomic and postural corrections.

  • Follow-up appointments focus on establishing a more tailor-made treatment plan for your specific situation, whether it’s a short-term treatment plan for an injury or a long term maintenance plan for ongoing support.

  • The goal is not simply temporary relief, but addressing the mechanical drivers contributing to pain and restricted movement.

  • The Trigger Point Clinic is an ACC registered provider. If your visit is the result of an accident or injury your appointment and an x-ray (if needed) may be subsidised.

Fees

The clinic accepts ACC claims for injury-related treatment. No referral is required.
